Where would you live and what type of house would you live in ?

I’ve always wanted a Cave home in Spain, some of them are just out of this world

A cottage by a nice lake, with a boat dock, in Colorado, Wyoming or Nebraska. Where, hopefully, we could see deer and elk.
 
I would live right where I am now but I would make many improvements and changes that I've always wanted. I would also love to have a secluded cabin by a lake for the hot summer months,so quiet I could hear my heart beat.
 

Just a simple home on a couple of acres but fenced in with chain link. It would be a place for homeless animals.
I would hire vets to feed and otherwise care for the animals. They deserve it just as much as humans.....and
sometimes MORE !!

I'd buy a nice big house... and I would also hire a nice settled responsible married couple to live there with me and help clean and maintain it... sometimes cooking meals... and watching after things while I travel.

Somewhere in the Lake District, England. Maybe Ambleside. The house would be totally off grid. Run by solar and possibly combined with wind turbine. It would have to be super insulated, and have the latest and greatest technologies of battery storage, energy efficient heating and cooling, all LED lights, etc.
 
An old farm with a big pond or a small lake and plenty of elbow room.

I'd buy a house on a lake, with a boat house, in a gated community, with a 24/7/365 security staff, in a city that has four seasons, and no hellish summers.
 
I would live in a house separate from my husband, and only see him when he was in a good mood. Lol, I have often wished we lived in a duplex. We would travel with a 'possee' to see to our every need and want.
 
I would go to one of the Hawaiian Islands, and find a house where i could see the awesome green mountains, and the ocean, and swim in my swimming pool all day long.
I don’t need a large or ostentatious house, just a comfortable one is fine, and the swimming pool is important .
