If you can only have one meal type per day...

Honestly! I'll never understand you pizza people -- my husband is one. A least I know if I'm not feeling well enough to cook he's never sad about it.

If the question was, "What food could you happily never eat again?" I would say, "pizza."

I'm going with @dusty and her beef stew.

I am a fan of breakfast sausage, all the right spices and a couple eggs...and sometimes has brown patties,,,,,i eat this morn or eve.....
yes if I couldn't have the teviotdale pie... I think a good hearty breakfast plate consisting of Sausage patty, eggs, Bacon, mushrooms, Potato cake, and black pudding would be my next choice.. yummmm..

Salad, as long as I can get creative. Salad has been a constant in my life since I was young, we didn't have sugary snacks or cereal in our home but we always had garden vegetables so that's what I snacked on. Here I am in my senior years and still eating a salad nearly every day.

No fast food for me thanks. Type - a sort of meat stew, it doesn't have to beef, chicken, pork ,or turkey work out fine for me too. I add beans or veggies and get a healthy delicious meal that's warm and filling. I do thrive on this kind of food so I'd like to keep it going. :giggle:

@hollydolly, the "visual" of food triggers my appetite ala Pavlov's dogs. When I was watching Bodkin on Netflix there were several scenes in which the characters were served breakfast at the B&B they were staying at. It was appalling to me that they didn't get to eat much of it, as there was always some conflict the would erupt and the actors would get up and leave. I'm watching this thinking "I wanna eat that".

that made me laugh out loud seriously.. because exactly the same thing happens to me.... I hate when that happen in a scene.. when there's this fabulous breakfast served up and no-one gets to eat it....

Having worked in TV and film..I know from personal experience most of it is not worth eating..but as you say like Pavlov's dog..I'm still there begging at the virtual table..:ROFLMAO:

When I lived there I used to take the bus into Banbury (after I learned which side of the road to wait on) and get a breakfast like that at Littlewoods. It was one of the great things about living there. You could pick five items from about ten selections. I would get toast, egg, beans, bacon and tomatoes.

That picture looks great but that egg has been disrespected!
Perfect over easy eggs:
