If you could spend the day

.....doing anything in the world you want to do, at no charge, how would you spend your day?

On the beach (under an umbrella nowadays) in Maui.

With mama on a white sandy beach, on a remote tropical island, slathered from head to toe in sunscreen, nibbling on whole fresh spit roasted and crunchy skinned suckling pig, while sipping on adult beverages with silly little umbrellas in them.

Walking through the giant sequoia and redwood trees along the Pacific coast. I'd bring my lunch and a chair. When I got tired of walking I'd find a nice mossy spot beneath one of those trees,take in all the earthy smells, and listen to all that Mother Nature has to offer. Sometimes it would be so quiet I would hear my own heartbeat and I would find complete peace and contentment that would last me the rest of my life.

I would spend the day fishing and relaxing in one of the hundreds of Adirondack mountains lakes. Just like dad and I use to do.

Probably in Turkey, spending the morning site seeing, after lunch a couple of hours sunbathing on the beach with a long, cool drink, visit a lovely restaurant for dinner and an evening walk along the sea front calling in at a beach bar, talking long into the night, maybe a slow dance before a nightcap to end the day, well we can dream can't we ?

I'd like to have a whole week in which I could relax and do what I want. I can't even remember the last time I had an opportunity like that. Oh well, may as well wish for a million dollars, not likely to get either.
