That's the basis of a lot of sci-fi stories......what happens to the "present" when you go back and change the "past".

I would allow Princess Charlotte (not the current one!) to live succeed to the throne of the UK.
Victoria and her progeny have caused a lot of trouble in Europe, and changed the course of history.

Tsar Nicholas, Kaiser Wilhelm and George V were all direct descendants of Victoria.
They fought as children and continued to fight as adults. Those three certainly changed the course of European history, and if she had not succeeded to the British crown they would have been just another bunch of minor European princelings and in no position to precipitate a world conflict and all that flowed from it.
Although Charlotte was also married to a Saxe Coburg (Leopold, she called him "the Leo"), she was a much more fun loving girl, probably be known as a party animal today, ore in the mould of Sarah Ferguson!
She'd have livened Europe up a bit!
And if she happened to be attractive and have nice legs, can you imagine the scandal? :magnify:
