If you have siblings, do they take after your mom, or your dad?

My brother is a carbon copy of my dad. And as much as we disagreed, I'd have to say I took after my mom.

My sister was a lot like my mother. But then so was or am I. I always thought the 2 of us perfectly resembled the 2 sides of our mother: I of course was the "good" side!
My brother, 5 yrs younger than me and 8 yrs younger than my sister, resembled nobody in our family.

I have 2 half-sisters, and a younger brother. None of us resemble one another.

Sister takes after our father (He was a tall Swede) in looks, but she has our mother's personality...she was German. I look similar to my sister, but have mother's build, but not her personality-- I know little about my biological father's personality. As a kid I would think of him as having a good sense of humor, but the few times I met with him, he wasn't all that cheerful. After his death, his wife told me he hated my mother. I've wondered if my looks reminded him of her.

My eldest son was the spitting image of my father at the age of 12. I have a photo of him sitting exactly the same way as my father, one foot resting on the other.

Two of my siblings are dead and neither of them resembled either my Mom or Dad. I resemble & have similar qualities as my father and my brother resembles my mother most, except he's not as smart or industrious as Mom was.

Sounds like the aliens wanted very much to get rid of those rest.

My brother resembles my dad, except eye color. I resemble my mother, and me and my brother look like we came from the same family, at least to me.

In my family, I look like a clone of my mother. Nobody looks like my father. One brother looks like our maternal grandfather.

Four brothers and they all have blue eyes, like Dad. Two sisters and all three of us have brown eyes like my Mom. For the longest time, as a child I thought that was how you could tell boys from girls.

I had an older sister, and she did not take after either of my late parents, at least not as I recall it! She also listened to a 'different beat of the drum' than the rest of us, God Bless her... I still miss her after her passing three years ago...

My mother was a crossword puzzle fanatic. I am almost as bad. After she died one of my brothers picked up one of her books of NY Times puzzles that she had not completed. He did very well with them which was something of a surprise. He was always good with games and riddles but had never expressed an interest in crossword puzzles.
