If you live alone, do you have pets?
That is a valid concern and worry.I gave up having any more pet cats pets, when I got my first ride in an ambulance to the hospital. Pets would depend on me to provide food, etc., and if I'm not there..............
Indeed. Pets are an important responsibility. People who think they can't properly care for the animal should not have it, IMO.That is a valid concern and worry.
How do you have a chicken indoors? You must clean up after her every time she poops. Chicken manure is pretty 'fowl'I live alone, with 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 22 chickens. The dogs and cats all came from rescues. One of the chickens is an indoor pet. She's 6 years old, a Buff Orpington. I swear, she's as smart as any dog I've ever known. Huge personality!
My dog and I are same as you and your dog. We cuddle up a lot with a big warm blanket. It's heavenlyMy elderly dog and I are aging in place - some days I'm not sure how long either of us have left ... but we muddle along.
Life is fine.
I'm not living alone at this point and we have an 11 year old cat and a 15 year old dog, but I've already decided that when the dog goes, we won't be replacing him even though we've never been without a doggy friend. But my daughter already has 3 dogs and a cat and now soon two toddlers so if something were to happen to us, I wouldn't feel good expecting her to take our fur kids on and the idea of them going to live with strangers...... so they'll be our last too.I gave up having any more pet cats pets, when I got my first ride in an ambulance to the hospital. Pets would depend on me to provide food, etc., and if I'm not there..............
Pets are just the greatest delight! I think they are Angels sent to us and one of the best gifts we can haveThese two new cats, Louie & Gidget, have brought such joy and happiness to me. I am not bored or lonely anymore since they came.
