I live alone, but don’t have a pet. I can barely care for myself, let alone a pet...

My lad is now just one year old and I am increasingly letting him out off the chain whilst I am not out with him for short periods of time as he comes running when called. However if within sight he will often just stand there when I say to come to me and look as if to say "do I realy have to?" ......until I put my hand in my pocket where the doggy treats are. These Collies are very smart and quick learners ..... I start to wonder who is training who!
