If You Plan To Get The Phizer Booster

I'm waiting on the Moderna booster, since that it what I had.

Don't shoot the messenger, but I just read in the News on my phone that Pfizer scientists said, off the record, that immunity protects you better than the vaccine.

Yeah, but to get that you have to have the Covid first, I think you are talking about natural immunity. The vaccine is less painful than the disease.

Don't plan to shoot anybody, LOL

i will say something similar to what i said on a thread posted about that:

Natural immunity sounds great and it is a good thing but consider that, as @Alligatorob said you have to get Covid first. What is more you have to survive it and be one of those that develop antibodies (not everyone does). Also consider the number of people who survive their bout with Covid only to become 'long-haulers' struggling with damage to various systems, organs and severe decline in their energy and endurance.

At least with Covid they learned about that early on. i have natural immunity to Measles, Mumps,Pertussis (whooping cough) from having those ailments between ages 8 months and 9 yrs. The childhood vaccines i got were Smallpox and Polio before entering school. But it is only in recent decades we are finding out doctors suspect an uptick in immune systems disorders in Boomers can be linked to having had measles or 'mono' (Epstein Barr Virus).

Each person needs to consider the risks, and make their own choices and hopefully not get pushy about anyone else's as long as that person is not directly increasing your own risk by being careless about precautions that reduce the spread.
