If you were forced to choose between Books, TV, and Computer which would you let go?

Wish my eyesight was better ... I always enjoyed reading a book. And Kindle isn't the same for me.

The computer seems to be the best choice for killing time, and finding entertainment. :)
Give Kindle time @JustBonee! I had to force myself for a few weeks to read books on a tablet since normal paperbacks' fonts had gotten too small for me. Now I wouldn't be without one! It's just a matter of getting used to a new way of reading. Another big advantage, most of the books I am reading at present cost anywhere from $ 2.00 CA to $ 9:00 CA. Nothing to sneeze at if you are on a fixed income!

I gave up TV many years ago, and don't own one. So it's out of books and computer. If one of those had to go, it would be books. With a computer you can do so much, the only limited is your imagination.

I already kissed tv goodbye. I'm still alive. :giggle:
Good for you, chic! I am nevertheless surprised about how many of you actually got rid of your TVs and lived without any serious withdrawal symptoms. I may knock TV and make it the first item to give away, if I had to choose, but I am still addicted to the incredible size of the picture and the clarity and colour in the few shows I still watch!

I'm with you on reading with a Kindle. I'm reading a book that is over 1500 pages in two volumes. In addition to being far less expensive the Kindle is easier for me to hold in my arthritic hands.

I also found it hard, in my paperback past, to read a seven hundred page novel since you really had to pry most books open to their utmost extent in order to see the whole page! I ruined books quite frequently because they came apart on me!

Getting rid of books is a no-no.
Getting rid of laptop is a no-no.
TV's crap full of repeats and it has a screen with things that move. It feels like company but it's also irritating.
Decisions, decisions....

Definitely the TV.
