If You Were Suddenly Homeless What Would You Do?

Our insurance pays for accommodation but it may not be available. About 20 years ago a major fire took out many homes and there was nothing to rent while trying to wait for homes to be rebuilt. The vacancy rate for rentals is almost zero around here and hotels are full with tourists. We sure wouldn’t want to live with my husband’s sons in Vancouver.

Both my sons live nearby so they could fight over which one would take me in.

I guess I would have to stay with my bf until I could find a new place.

My home owners insurance would put me up somewhere. I had a neighbor that happened to, they got to live in a house for a while. Also, I always thought the Red Cross helps people with housing.
I could get a tent and supply and hang out at a state park awhile as well. That could be interesting.
