If you're a football fan, what is your favorite team?

Steelers and Penn State. Thankfully, Penn State has fired their head coach, James Franklin. Probably should have been fired 3 years ago.

I've lived in Cleveland for 14 years now and never watched a Browns game. Raised in Michigan and never watched a Lions game. I watched the Saints for years and never been to New Orleans. Strange huh? That was years ago. Haven't watched any games in years.

Mississippi State Bulldogs and since my favorite Bulldog ever, Dak Prescott, is Dallas Cowboys quarterback, I root for them too.

!!! Roll Tide !!!

I don't follow football anymore but I just did a search and found that my old Alma Mater FSU, who kind of suck this year, beat Alabama in the first game of the season. :)

Pretty sad for you Bama fans isn't it? Since you all consider anything less than an undefeated season as a failure. Lol!

I’ve never had any interest in professional or college sports.

I used to get a kick out of watching the local high school team when I knew some of the players.

I also used to enjoy an afternoon in the local pub watching a game with a few friends, usually the local college team.

These days I would be happy with the game day snacks and a nap. 😉🤭😂

Mississippi State fans think Dan Mullen will walk barefoot on hot coals for that job. He's wanted it since he was at State fifteen years ago. He's a PA native and I think his dad was a big Penn State fan.

Mullen is a great offensive coach but was not a good recruiter under the pre-transfer portal system when coaches had to travel around schmoozing parents ...that was his only weakness, a big one then. Now that players can transfer, I think his high energy personality will be great at working the portal. He'll always draw top dual threat quarterbacks thanks to Dak. Dak had only one other D1 scholarship offer (Louisiana Monroe, I think), and Dan turned him into a NFL qb. Also coached Tim Tebow when he was an assistant at Florida.

I am not a footie fan (or a sport fan of any sort) but my kids support the Canberra Raiders so I guess it has to be them.

Though my local team is St George Illawarra

Yeah, I saw that. We figured we’d try something new this year. Like losing on purpose to build character.
Plus we just wanted to see how the other half lives. Turns out, losing isn’t as fun as y’all make it look.
Bless y’all’s hearts though and enjoy your moment, Seminole Nostalgia Department.
And hold onto that win like it’s your keepsake. Little victory makes a nice story at reunions.
We'll just keep polishing trophies. They got a name for the winners in the world. They call Alabama the Crimson Tide.
"Roll Tide Roll"

Before the FSU game, Alabama was ranked No.8 ... right now Alabama is ranked No.6

I'd counter that with "Go Vols!" but I hate them too. Guess I'll just root for injuries on that one.

As for the Noles after I got out of the Air Force I went to Grad School there during the Mudra years when they went 1-10 and 3-8. It got so bad that for a time they were giving away tickets at the local Burger Kings with a $3 order. Lol!

After I left Bobby Bowden came on and really turned them around.

Tampa Bay Bucs and Norte Dame University.

After I finished Grad School at FSU during the Mudra years when they went 4-18 I got a job with the Florida DOT in Bartow just in time for the Bucs first two seasons when they lost there first 26 Games straight. Lol!

How can anyone not like Notre Dame? They have by far the best fight song of any team.

I really liked Tim Tebow. I don’t think he was treated fairly in the NFL. If his team would have been more supportive. He could have achieved greatness, IMO. I saw him play against Miami in preseason. He really impressed me. He was very smart at reading defenses.

Not to mention they have gold in their helmets.

My idea of a good football game used to be putting a bridle on my horse and heading for the woods. These days I watch Hallmark movies🤠🤠. But not to worry, football recaps hit every section of news on every channel, where I now live.

However being from the OH/PA border the first 50 years of my life, I leaned toward the Browns & the Steelers.

Now I live in Middle Tennessee where football abounds at every level. Like it or not I have absorbed some alliance to the Vols and to the Titans who haven’t seemed to be able to get their act together since their last days as the Oilers and their Titans days when Jeff Fisher was their coach.

The Titans have been through a lot of players and a lot of coaches. I blame their lack of success on whomever pulls the money strings and doesn’t know flip about football. But what do I know, I’m just a dumb female who would rather ride my horse—————
