I'll admit to having done this....you ?

X-husband used to do that with RC Cola too. Don't know why it had to be RC, but it did. I never tried it myself. Seems like a good way to ruin a perfectly good soft drink and peanuts. ;)
Well, regular coke has more of an intense and sweet flavor with a bit of a bite. RC was a bit smoother and just seemed to pair with peanuts better. When you took a sip and got a peanut or two, it had a nice slightly salty finish. Ha ha, I sound like a bit of a cola snob. Anyway, it's just one of those things you have to try and maybe you like it, maybe you don't.

So, do you chew the peanuts or just wash then down whole? :ROFLMAO:

No. Never heard of doing this.
Neither have I. Now that I have, I still won’t be trying it.

I do remember the tales of putting aspirin in your coke and it would make you drunk. I didn’t try that one either.

I've never done it and never heard of anyone else doing it. I won't be trying it now because the last couple of times I had Coke it tasted strange, almost like a pesticide was in it. The last one was free too (canned) and I wound up throwing half of it away.

Never heard of it before. What's the point exactly? If it's something like the old aspirin in a Coke, does it work with Pepsi as well?

As it is I don't particularly like fizzy drinks, especially not Coke or Pepsi, so wouldn't bother myself. My drink of choice is an orange juice and lemonade in one glass. That way I get a slightly fizzy orange juice that's not quite as thick and sickly as orange juice on its own, and not as fizzy as lemonade on its own.

Same here, had a friend who always mixed them together, I never did. But I did go through a rum n' coke phase back in the day.
And like other folks here RC was my go to soda.
Coat. Morgan rum with Coke isn’t my first choice of an alcohol drink, but if offered one, I would never turn it down. I am not a beer drinker, instead, I like Crown Royal over ice or CC with seven up in a tall glass, ice and with a lime. I’m getting thirsty.
