Illegal Immigrants in France and the U.K.

Many of these countries have to learn about birth control. Far to many kids.

Many of the "experts" have placed the maximum sustainable global population at around 5 billion people. We are over 7 billion now, headed for 9 billion by mid century, and could reach 12 billion by the year 2200. Automation is making human labor less relevant with each passing year. Climate Change is going to impact agriculture, and flood many heavily populated low lying coastal areas. It shouldn't take a rocket scientist to see that there will be some insurmountable problems...probably within the next 50 to 100 years...problems that will reduce the population drastically.

"and hopefully enter another where I will be safe."

While there are some genuine asylum seekers among them, bi far the vast majority are economic migrants looking for a better quality of life without the attendant hard work,

" it would seem that the French could be rounding them up."

If they did that they would have to look after vthem and they'd sooner somebody else had the ptoblem!

The French seem to be taking the same approach as the Mexican government does with immigrants from South/Central America passing through its territory. Namely, funnel them to the Mexican border and push them across the Rio Grande.

One of the things to keep in mind with unbridled immigration in any country is that actual resources and/or capabilities of a country have limitations. One might want to look at like seating capacities in restaurants or weight limits for vehicles. Once those limits are exceeded the chances for a catastrophe or failure are much more likely. Same for an economy. Sooner or later these migrating job seekers will actually have to compete for a job even if from other immigrants. The congregations of day laborers at a Home Depot would be an example of that and that's nothing compared to what will happen with many of these so called skilled visa workers even in tech. There are already governments going bankrupt unable to pay for the services they provide. Sooner or later demand will exceed capability.
