I'm 91 But Think a Lot About the Past

At age 91 I think about the past lots of times every day. I used to be a young man looking for dates all the time in my low 20's but then married the girl of my dreams at age 25. We've been together for 66 years now. We had 2 kids and now have 6 grandkids and now even have 1 great grandkid. At my present age it's possible I'll reach 100 before Jesus calls me to Heaven.

Whatever you've been doing you're doing it right! Keep up the good work! šŸ˜šŸ’•

Thinking about the past is a very natural thing to do these later years. Somethings warm us, others hurt and some
make us guilty or ashamed. Dreams of the future and what it holds is small if at all, mostly wishes for most but not plans.
So guess what Mitch... Welcome to the stage of life where it's natural and normal!

At 93, I too, think of the past and some of the fun things in my life. I often wish I could skate and ride a bike again, but with a walker I can walk and that I do. But, I realize that age tells us when to slow down and smell the flowers, read more and just relax and enjoy what we have left. Mitch, you have family, but it is just down to my son and myself. He's a business man and so don't see him that often. I think I appreciate him more when I do see him, than when we lived in the same house.
