Good morning, all. Pepper asked that I update you on her situation.

She's back in the hospital. The surgery on her left leg apparently wasn't successful and she now has infections in her left foot and leg. No wonder she's been so down in the dumps. Bad enough to be dealing with the aftermath of a successful surgery, never mind one with complications. Her current hospitalization is expected to be followed sometime this week with another stint in a skilled nursing facility.

Please keep her in your thoughts.

That is terrible news, but hopefully, if she is in the hospital, they can get that leg taken care of properly, and get rid of the infection, so that it can heal.
I know she didn’t like being in the nursing home before either, , but at least they spoke English, and were not like the home caretaker that they sent her.

Do you know - is the infection systemic or local? like, in the blood, or just the leg?
