Thanks for that Oldman, it did bring a tear...bittersweet. I heard about that video on the radio late last night and wanted to hear it. Here he is in his younger days, singing a lovely song.

I forget what night his show was on TV, but we watched it religiously, until I went into the service.

Campbell became a legend in his own lifetime.

Over here at our side of the planet it is predicted there will be more than 520,000 people in the UK with Alzheimer's disease in 2015.

I know someone who has hidden a supply of tablets if they ever develop this illness.
I remind him that he will not remember where the tablets are hidden.

Thanks om! We will sure miss him and his singing, even though he is still alive. Here is one I always liked to listen to.

I was never that big of a Glen Cambell fan.. His personal life and antics left somethig to be desired. His music was just OK to me.. he did have some nice songs.. Of course I don't wish alzheimers on anyone... it's a horrible disease.

We watched his shows. He usually had a good guest star. I like country music along with classic rock and on rainy days when my wife plays her elevator CD's.
