It hasn't been a good year so far with the loss of our son still very much on our minds. We had planned to divide his large bedroom into a smaller room and a study, but that ground to a halt when I damaged my right knee with only some work done.
As it stands, I have booked a course of physio to hopefully fix my knee and other creaks, and before that, we're off to our daughter's house in Salford, Manchester, to do a bit of DIY, grass cutting etc.

If we get a chance, we will visit some of the local attractions like BBC studios at Media City, the Lowry art gallery or the Imperial war museum.

I probably won't be posting for a couple of weeks, but hopefully the break will do us some good. As they say, a change is as good as a rest.
