"I'm so far behind in life"..

Technology baffles me, I haven't a clue what an App is, can't fathom email and as for pointing your phone and zapping some weird gizmo to pay for a purchase, well that's rocket science. Then again though, I have to admit, I never try.
How do I handle it, just by ignoring it. Yesterday I took my wife to the supermarket for our weekly shop. It was a sunny day so we gave our 77 year old MG a run and went in that. Whilst walking around the store, my wife and I were stopped and complimented on our attire numerous times. Later, after we paid, (in cash) we enjoyed a coffee in the supermarket's cafe. Looking out on the car park our MG was being photographed by almost everyone that went by. I tell you this because it seems that we can get by quite easily.

"I'm so far behind in life".. sounds like a phrase that a young person might say, when they are gauging their progress towards their goals.
As Seniors the phrase "I'm so far behind in life" is less relevant, at least for most.

I suppose that there is some truth to that statement but I’m doing pretty well considering where I started.

Aunt Bea just said that time will eventually even things out. It DOES for all of us. We ALL will DIE and never suffer again after that event.

It sounds to me like somebody waking up one day at 30 y/o and realizing they are still racking up student debt and/or living at home on Mom and/or Dad's credit cards.
