In 2124, what will they say was the dumbest thing we did?

Avoiding politics and serious stuff...

Business suits. I think we will have suits for weddings, proms and formal occasions. But I don't think we will have them for everyday office wear.

People are starting to dress less formally at the office. Business suits are becoming less common. I think in the future people will think wearing suits to the office was a bit silly.

We are moving toward being judged in the workplace by how professional you act, not how professional you look. I see future generations thinking it would be silly that you had to dress a certain way to advance your career.
I think people should look the part for their role or the occasion. I like seeing smart sharply dressed professional people especially. It's all much too casual these days.

If you mean society at large, I’d say it’s that our government dragged its feet about getting the EV charging network started. Four years gone and no new infrastructure on that in my area.

If you mean in terms of stupid trends, I’d say TicTok.

Our Century's dumbest things?
Boy Bands
Millions made from selling Pet Rocks.
"Luke, I am your father".
Celebrity work out tapes.
Kmart blue light specials.
"The Hustle" dance.

I hope they'll be amazed that we settled disputes with other countries by sending young people trained to fight to go to the death against their young people who were trained to fight.

"Black fridays" and similar nonsense in trade. I've never bought something on such an opportunity. I buy things when I need them and not for the reason they are cheap on a special day.

Dumbest thing they'll say we did was to allow for our childen to play with violent video games like "Grand Theft Auto" in the hands of young boys. Still going on. In case you're unfamiliar with it, with the click of a button your goal is to shoot and kill a policeman coming down the street and watch him as he lays in a puddle of blood. Worse than dumb.

And sick violent rated R movies that children can access with the click of a button. These were the end of the age of innocence on the highest level. The government should have stepped in but was such a moneymaker, they likely opted for profits.
