In general, what are some of your likes and dislikes about the opposite sex.

Don't tend to dislike anything about most women because as a single senior living alone for the last 7 years, I really don't come into contact day to day, week to week, with many women and when I do, there is little given such circumstances I might have reason to feel negative about. Generally have considerable natural attraction to women, especially their lovely smiling faces, temperaments, and feminine nature.

Instead, tend to appreciate any interactions with women, that usually is rather mutually pleasant. That noted, there are certainly things I read or hear about that some people of either gender do that I dislike.

In the soon coming winter 2023/24 ski season, I will be up in Tahoe most midweeks 2 to 3 days where I will be riding many types of multi-person ski lifts where I will be randomly seated next to A to Z others of all backgrounds, including many foreigners, at all ages, including females. Thus it is a time of year I as someone that enjoys conversation will have an opportunity to casually talk to many others. I especially enjoy conversation with women, many of course are fit and athletic, out having fun.

I don't like cacklers; women who cackle instead of laugh. I don't like women (and people in general) who yell instead of talk. I don't like women who place themselves at the center of their universe and aren't even capable of seeing things from anyone else's perspective. I don't like women (or men) who always have to be right and can't admit or concede or even acquiesce to the possibility they could be wrong, misinformed, or mistaken.

I'm totally slayed by a woman whose sense of humor is quick, smart, and uniquely observational but who knows when to give it a rest. I adore a woman who is graceful, courteous, kind, and has a huge heart but who's also independent and resourceful but still needs me sometimes, and she never hesitates to say so.

Her name is Michelle.

Lookswise/negatives
Tattoos, any sort of piercings (both common in my eyes), weak effeminate hands, avoiding eye contact when speaking, suit wearers for their line of work.... it indicates to me they're office workers, sales reps and the like .... (vital roles - but what I call 'safe haven roles' ie not in the big bad world of life)

Lookswise/positives
Twinkling eyes, good teeth, strong hands with thick wrists (touch of dark hair showing on the forearms wouldn't go amiss :D), the way they stand, taller than me, only wear collar and tie for important or formal occasions, rugged types with a sense of presence and warmth rather than attractiveness

Personality/negatives
No SOH (or it's too bloody hard to find if they have one), no sense of adventure, no imagination, no real sense of caring about others, too much 'sense of self' , having a penchant for the Eff word, con artists, those who talk the talk who don't even attempt to walk the walk

Personality/positives
Opposite to the negatives I listed, playful, protective, altruistic, wicked SOH, non-woke, practical (the type who can turn their hand to anything), wordly, naturally gentlemanly in areas like walking on the outside, opening doors for people, genuinely caring and selfless, bit of roguishness and blarney I find rather endearing in some people too

There's plenty more, but you only asked for 'some' :D

I like a man to be humble and respectful of women. Sense of humor is #1. Confident and Adventurous...
Intelligent enough to converse about a wide range of topics, but not too smart or a know-it-all. Chatty but not one who only talks about himself and won't let you get a word in edgewise. Spiritually deep, believes in God. Considerate...Sentimental...Compassionate...
No macho-men who try to prove they're better than other men... Oh, and No Male Chauvinists who treat women as inferior sex objects.
Thanks for asking. Is anyone taking notes or are you just curious?

It's actually more of a survey just to see what women think about men in general, and vise versa, and what are their likes and dislikes about the opposite sex. Some of it is rather expected replies, but other, not so much. But it's interesting to get the feedback nonetheless.
