In other Utah news: Polygamous cult leader had 20 wives

One of several Utah polygamous cults.

A self-proclaimed prophet in the US had more than 20 wives, some of them younger than 18, the FBI has said.

Samuel Rappylee Bateman claimed it was God's will for him to engage in ****** acts with his wives, the FBI said.

Polygamy is just an excuse for an unfaithful married man to go with other women without problems from his wife

Those idiotic women brainwashed from birth. Trained.
the Majority are not idiotic, they are as you say, indoctrinated.. For the most part, live, work and get schooled in their own community, not knowing anything different on the outside.. and being taught to believe that the only law is the law of their Father on Earth and in Heaven... Only when those who leave, or go to work outside of the community do they realise that much of what they've learned is wrong...by then many of them are ashamed that they've given birth to children when they themselves were still children.. and feel that they will only ever be accepted within the Polygamous Community and never Outside of it.. .. and so it Self perpetuates

Unless you are a teenage boy…who often gets thrown out.
Another evil of these cults.

It allows them to maintain a high female to male ratio, whilst sorting out any males they think might not be or become "true believers".

And the boys are often just dumped on the streets with a poor education, and a poorer understanding of life in the real world.

This is about just one, but probably the largest cult:

To do the math. If one guy has 20 wives, it means 19 guys don't. If there are a lot of polygamous males in a community, there is an even larger numbers of unhappy males, so why do they put up with the practice? Those wifeless men were raised in the practice, so it's not like it was just sprung on them. If 20 women want to marry the same guy, why not? But it's BS that some deity approves/promotes the system.

My G-G-Grandmother was Abraham Hunsaker's Third or Fourth wife, fuzzy history, never did get it straight. Never believed in the practice anyway. My wife grew up in one of houses Lorenzo Snow maintained for one of his wives. Broke away in my early 50's became an avid ex-mormon from that point on. No, I never did have horns.

Interesting book - Did read it. No Man Knows My History by Fawn Brody

Newton's third law is: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. The statement means that in every interaction, there is a pair of forces acting on the two interacting objects. The size of the forces on the first object equals the size of the force on the second object.

To translate that into polygamy: For twenty wives there are.................................twenty mother-in-laws!

In a reality TV show.. called Sister wives, where one guy lives with 4 wives in Utah...... he's got it all worked out to suit himself nicely.. his father took the mother of one of his wives as HIS second wife.. so in essence his mother-in-law is now his stepmother

They probably share their wives with the unhappy males, cuz it's also.....God's will.

Cody Brown. What a creep he is. I watched it in the beginning. I see gossip about them online sometimes.

I saw a report done by people who meet the young males who are cast out of these groups, because "There's not enough women for all of us males"

The boys are basically heartsick, grieved to being tossed out and ignorant of the world they're forced into.

The Amish/Mennonite groups may reject the convenience of the modern world, but they're 1 man. 1 woman. Not like these idiot mormons
