In the great debate over soap and body wash, is that a hint about your adventurous level?

Apparently, Millennials use body wash, which is the "in" thing. So which side of the great debate, bar soap vs. body wash, do you come down on? And is which one you use a hint at your overall adventurous level?

In the era of "full disclosure", I admit I'm a body washer. I'm one of 'them', now.

We use body wash but my husband who we finally found out is allergic to preservatives in many household and personal items can only use Irish Spring recommended by the doctor.
I use whatever is on sale. I think it lathers better than the bar soap and seems to last longer.

Only soap I use is Olay Ultra Moisture Bar with Shea butter.

The reason body wash leaves your shower so clean is it's a detergent, a chemical surfactant just like you use on the dishes. Soap leaves behind soap scum over time but it's easier on your skin because it's made of more natural fats and oils. I tried the body washes and was left with dry itchy skin, so I switched back to soap, but every few months I have to clean the shower with Tilex which is ... yep, a harsh chemical detergent.

I use bar soap but my wife uses body wash, and when my grandkids come to stay the weekend they bring their own body wash, body scrubbies, shampoo, and conditioner.

But I only use soap on my out-going bits. On all the rest of me, I just scrub vigorously with a washcloth.

Bar soap for me. DH uses a body wash because it sudses better on the scrubbie. Maybe I should suggest that he switch to soap for the winter because his skin is really itchy. I accidentally bought a bottle of baby wash so he’ll have to use that up first.

Most of the time I wash my face & eyes with baby shampoo.

If you want to avoid a messy shower, don’t use one of those black charcoal bars.

Is there an unscented version of Irish Spring? I hate the smell.

so do rodents if you have anywhere with mice some suggest putting a bar there lol

i use bar have some body wash but i think it is designed for you to use more then really needed .... some like the smells but i do not think many last much longer then after you dry off.
Bathroom items such as shampoo and body wash bottles are often forgotten to make it to the recycle bin
