In the Sky

Three very large orange globes, traveling in line, s/east to n/west, at about 9:30 pm. On a very hot summer night as I was moving my lawn sprinkler , I looked up, there they were. Obviously I have no idea what they were. They made no noise .

They were not hot-air balloons .

Last Summer on a bright cloudless day, I saw a static
flashing white light very high in the sky, way above
any aircraft would fly, it stayed in position for 10 mins
after which I got fed up watching, when I went back
half an hour later I couldn't find it.

I realise that it could be a Satellite, but don't know.

Mike.

Back in the 60's, my b/f and I were sitting on a log at the beach in Vancouver in the evening .. many others around. Far up in the night sky, we saw a white light .. hovering. It wasn't a plane. We, and others, watched it for a good 10-15 mins. Then, whatever it was, shot upwards at quite a speed, and kept going until it was too far for our eyes to see it anymore.

Another time, in the late 80's - early 90's, the dog woke me up to go outside for a wee (a very rare thing). It was around 2:00 - 3:00 a.m. While waiting for him to find the perfect spot. I had a sudden funny feeling - I looked up at the sky, and could see long dark shadows that looked like planes, but without the kind of wings that commercial planes have .. there were several, and the reason it was eerie, was that there were no lights on them, and no sound. I thought the dog would be aware of them, but he wasn't.

The strangest thing I have ever seen in the sky was: We were in Key West and was boarding a boat with others to go out and watch a Key West Sunset on the water.. As we were boarding a bunch of Sea Gulls were hovering over the boat about two feet above our heads. I decided to try and take a picture of them in flight. One of the birds let loose a big crap and it hit me on the head and forehead. Everyone begin to laugh and I got pissed and got off the boat.. I laugh about it now.

While flying missions in Germany, we used to see bright chrome spheres in the air. (About the size of basketballs.)

We never found out what they were.
I have read many accounts of spheres like your sighting. There just might be someone looking at us or looking out for us. If they are, they are so advanced as to our knowledge they just ingore us, maybe.

On my way to elementary school, with my friend, I looked up and saw a round disk, about 100' across, hovering only about 60' over us. It had an undercarriage full of pipes and metal boxes and gears. The next thing I knew, I was at home, and it was 4 PM. I then started having weird dreams about this little creature, who stood upright but had a semi-reptilian appearance, showing me dioramas in a long corridor. The dreams stopped after a year, or so. I also kept wanting to describe a shape, during that time period, but it alluded me each time I tried to focus on it. My friend and I never discussed that morning. She moved, soon afterwards. The preceding is not meant as a joke. It is what I recall. I was five years old.

In the 70's we went out of town, up into the foothills one night for a chance to watch Skylab come flying by. This was when it was on it's final days before crashing back to earth. When it flew by I was surprised just how low it was in the night sky. I remember thinking I could throw a rock at that..

I arrived at work one night about 11:45 pm, midnight shift, and as I got out of my car a low hum was coming from above. I looked up and saw a huge, dark shape like a triangle. I watch it for about 5 minutes as it slowly disappeared. I thought that it might have been an air ship but I don’t think they travel at night.

This wasn't strange lights, etc. I was 11. It was October 5, 1957. The USSR had launched Sputnik the day before. The newspaper reported that the satellite would be going over my Massachusetts home every ninety minutes. I went out to a large grassy field near my hone. I looked at the sky and there it was. It looked like a pale white basket ball moving through the blue sky. Today, satellites are no big deal, but back in 1957, the hysteria was unreal. It was like our worst enemy came up with a super weapon , from which we were totally defenseless. Seeing it in the sky was scary.
