On one of my trips to Canada I stayed alone on a fly-in fishing lake in far northern Manitoba for six days by myself and I hated to see the trip end so staying a month would be great.
I had a lake and a small cabin all to myself, the cabin was stocked with canned goods and the pilot gave me a few loaves of bread and meat before he took off, a hole dug in the ground was my refrigerator, my drinking water came straight out of the lake, no indoor plumbing, no electric or generator just old school coal oil lanterns, a two burner propane stove for cooking, a wood burning pot belly stove for heat, two 14' alum. boats with 15 hp motors (one was a spare in case of a breakdown), two drums of gas to pull boat motor fuel from, a 45-70 lever rifle and ammo was provided for protection if needed and I was also given a satellite phone for emergencies.
Every morning I'd wake up to the sound of loons on the lake, I saw moose and bears on two occasions and it seemed like eagles were everywhere.
As far as I was concerned I was in hog heaven and I'd go back and do it again for a month alone in a heartbeat.
My cabin was smaller and considerably more rustic than this but you get the idea.
