Informed Delivery and mail not received

@jujube...I find that the P.O. doesn't take pictures of junk mail or the Costco sales brochure, things of that nature.

That I know, and thank goodness they don't since that's 90% of our mail. In this case, it was two envelopes with checks that had been sent to us first class mail. They were in the box but not in the report/picture.

We're so fortunate to have Canada Post mail boxes in our lobby. If you have a parcel, a key with a number on it is put in your mailbox. You never get an email from Canada Post. If you do, it's a scam.

We're even luckier, we get the mail into our letterbox in our front door...

I also use the USPS Informed Delivery. It is a 10 minute round trip walk to my mailbox. But I’ve found it to be spotty as well. Sometimes a piece of mail that is shown arriving on one day will actually not arrive until the next.

that would annoy the heck outta me. Having to get dressed and walk somewhere to get mail that isn't there....

Yeah...not good! I'm glad you got your checks. It's better that you got checks that weren't shown than to have them shown and not get them.
