Does your car have a dash cam? If not, this video will make you want to get one. It was taken in the UK in early July and it shows just how important it is to have a record of what actually happened during an accident.

A scammer on a moped and his accomplice tried to pull a fast one over on this unsuspecting driver. Luckily, her dash cam caught the whole thing on tape.

I wish my car had a built in dash cam. I'm thinking of getting a newer model GPS unit that has a built in dash cam so I don't have more than one 'steal-able' item to worry about when parking my car.

One thing I noticed the driver with the dash cam did was tell them she had a dash cam. They ran off. It would have been much better to go through the motions where the police fill out a report and get everyone's names and particulars... and then offer up the dash cam video to the police.
