on the news....
A husband & wife / parents, filed suit in court to have their 30yr old son ordered to leave their home, by the court.
I'm not taking a position on it at this time, just asking questions.
In this country, we are [too some degree] expected to take care of our aging parents.....why is it then do we not 'expect' our aging parents to take care of us? Even though we may be adults chronologically speaking. I mean after all, none of us ask to be born....why do we as a society say OK, you're 18 or ?..now go live on your own. And yet we scold when these same 18 or so yr old's do not take care of their aging parents.
Now to add to the question...this particular person said that he had remained in his parents home for the purpose of getting his business started / up & running.
So let's say he is a complete success....do we then expect him to use his success & in-fact take care of his parents in the coming years?
Gotta admit, it is at the very least an interesting case.
