Interesting documentary about Gloriavale A cultish Christian Community

I love documentaries, learning new and interesting things. On Amazon Prime I found a 3 part series about Gloriavale, a Christian "community" in New Zealand. They are a closed community, you need to be born into it, or invited to join. They have strict values and beliefs. There are over 500 people living in the community. They have strict beliefes and values, all marriages are arrainged by the elders, Women obey and submit to the husbands. There are multiple children in each family (8+) It is facinating as to what their beliefs are, and how strict they are. Couples who are engaged never spend time alone until after the wedding. After the ceremony, the couple immediately goes to consumate the marriage, and then return for the wedding party.
There is a lot more to this, but if you are all interested in sects/cults or whatever, you may enjoy this
 

I saw that! It was interesting to me but only because I have a niece who lives almost like that. Not in a community but has a network of people who follow her and her husband. She and her 3 sisters also never kissed their husbands until the marriage ceremony. Now she has 13 children of her own and her oldest daughter has already married and had her first baby. They say they are building an army for Jesus.
