I’ll also add that I joined an cohousing group that owned an 18-unit, 3 floor walk-up apartment building here in the Waterloo Region of Ontario, Canada & we lived in shared intentional community for 21 years as a 6-person family.

I mention this because I am looking to develop a non-profit cohousing corporation that will by property and live as a cohousing seniors focused intentional community. If you have never seen this sort of model for living here is a YouTube link for you. Let me know what you think.
