Invasion of BEARS

R.I.P. With Us In Spirit Only
If you haven't seen them yet it isn't surprising - they only appear when they sense that a determined human being is going to fight back. But standing as they do at 13' tall and being immune to .50 caliber bullets they are virtually impossible to defeat, no matter WHAT kind of handgun, rifle or shotgun you're carrying.

Say hello to the Lenco BearCat G3.

These armored (and often armed) tactical response-and-rescue vehicles are the go-to choice for SWAT teams and police departments throughout the U.S. worried about terrorist activity, like that strange guy down the street that's always talking about "Constitutional overhaul". The G3 will set HIS ass straight in a hurry!

The G3 was also featured during the Boston marathon bombing urban take-over ...

The best thing is, when you see one of these outside your front door your chest will swell with patriotic pride when you remember that it was paid for with YOUR tax dollars!

Saw some of the tactical response group footage on the News here during that Boston hunt and thought they were doing a remake of the Blues Brothers.
We don't get near that exciting here, don't have battlewagons as flash as that either that I've seen. But fear not, this government's always looking for something to waste money on, shiny toys like that will be irresistible.

Maybe it's just me, but don't you just love it when there is a problem in a home, it takes swat teams, 20 police cars and a hundred cops to surround the home?

I!m not sure, but couldn't someone sneak in the back and take out perp? It would sure release a lot of personnel.

Florida is big on this type of police action. I think maybe this is a little overkill. No pun intended.

I think it's a combination of incompetence, mixed with abuse of power. Too many loopholes in the whole pressure cooker terrorist fiasco in Boston, in my opinion. They don't want to sneak in the back any more and take out the perp, not enough glory! Looks to me like the cops are buying more and more military equipment, and then jump at the chance to play their little war games...what a thrill for them...the hell with our rights as United States citizens. Uh oh, I used the C word, soon there'll be a spy drone flying overhead.
