Was last month Dec. 2025. I made my own birthday cake. My late Wife and I would split birthday cakes because our birthdays were so close together.Seems like there’s plenty for a few of us, if we can get there quickly. Happy B’day.
Went out to eat on my 75 birthday. My daughter took this picture.
So sorry for your lossIt took me 40+ years to tell my story to one person in my life. She passed away on Feb. 4, 2025 and took the story with her. She was the main character in the story. She was my story.![]()
Thank you CalisSo sorry for your loss
This is a great place to make friends and hang out! Good to have you here.
PS - Happy Birthday!
I'm not a big country-western music person, but, I like the song "Chosen Texas" that she sings. She's cute!
get to the bottom of the thread and then can't remember what the topic is all about - is it senile dementia ? - the topic I mean NOT me!!
I venture out to some of the other topics/threads from time to time. I have been busy so not a lot of time to do that. I have been dealing with the bank/credit union lately trying to get them to take my late Wife's name off the loan. They have been trying to push me into a refi which goes counter to law. They finally did the right thing and removed her name and I am the sole person on the mortgage. The last man standing so to speak. This was a victory for me. I feel good about having that done. It seemed so foolish to me for them to be sending statements/billing to my late Wife.I'm late to this as I usually am so just now hearing about your loss, Bob. So sorry but welcome to SF. I see you're a music lover and there are at least a few music threads on here you might enjoy.
