I started watching Grey's Anatomy from it's pilot episode. A few years into it, I started saying I wouldn't watch next season, but they always hooked me with their season finales. Until about two seasons ago, that is. I no longer like most of the newer characters and never cared that much for the show's main character, Meredith Grey. I tried watching Private Practice, a spin off, but didn't like it. My husband and I watched a couple of episodes of The Good Doctor when it first premiered but I didn't get back to it, mostly because I was waiting to watch it with him and the only thing he didn't fall asleep on was Scandal. At some point I intend to get back to it (via Hulu).
I started watching 9-1-1 and liked it. It took me a few episodes to get into its spin off, 9-1-1: Lone Star, but I actually like that better. I recently started watching (again) Station 19, a Grey's spin off. The pilot interested me enough that I'll watch Ep 2 and may stick with it this time. I tried watching Chicago Fire and Fire Country. Didn't get past the first episode of either one, mostly because I didn't care for the characters. Have you...do you watch any of these types of shows?
