I love his really BIIIIIIIG shows!
Yup!!Him and Red Skelton.......
I miss ole Ed and his variety show. What have we have now that equals it........nothing.....Ed Sullivan reminded me of Senor Wences with the guy in the box and the girl he made out of his hand. He really wasn't a very good ventriloquist but I loved to watch him anyway.

Didn't see the Ed sullivan Show last night, but I did watch the Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour.
It is on antenna TV channels but the lineup varies from area to area. Take a look at old weather reports using tape and crayons to forecast the weather (which were never very accurate).
I agree. I miss all those wonderful Christmas shows also. Andy Williams,Dean Martin,Perry Como. They use to rerun them for awhile but not anymore. I suppose the younger generation wouldn't even know who they are. Their loss. lol
Impossible, today's technology versus 1950s.Funny, I found that the old weather guys were far more accurate than today's high teach forecasters.
That is exactly the way I feel. For me TV is easy. Among the godzillian chanels available, there are only 2 or maybe 3 that I tune in on.
Oh, I LOVED the Sonny and Cher show! And then there was "Hullabaloo" and "Shindig".
