I guess it depends on the business, but for most large corporations I think you are dead wrong. The person who reads that letter probably has to read dozens if not hundreds a day. The last thing they need is to have to interpret handwriting, no matter how fancy it is.
There is normal handwriting and there is calligraphy. Calligraphy is very pretty to hang on the wall, but not the best choice for basic communication.
