As you correctly pointed out, so many will allow the belief to go unchallenged and it becomes a form of blindness. The more one has invested in the belief, the more the pattern is perpetuated.

Let's be honest. With the constant threats and filing of lawsuits hanging over the heads of long-reliable news sources, freedom of the press is swiftly disappearing.

Then there's the land of social media - an echo chamber of confirmation bias if ever there was one.
 
many are mind comtrols in life - religion ; finance advisers ; new lovers ? TV; ads; politicians keep adding??
 

I will just say that it’s not a religion.

Any sect of people that will dishonor one another and use the name of God to raise money is not Christian like.
Some of their “rules” makes it more of a cult than a sect.
