Is the apocalypse the end?

I don’t believe the apocalypse when the conflict between good and evil battle for control.

What is for grabs besides the fate of humanity? The Bible speaks of years of tribulation, the AntiChrist, mark of the beast and thousand year reign, all for what? To scare potential believers into joining the Almighty Club?
Is there a battle for control between good and evil? There is a natural occurrence to establish and maintain equilibrium, when negative and positive energies are unbalanced a force, the overseer, what ever is in charge alters the state of what is to restore balance.

There are as many interpretations of god as there are minds that think. For me, the most satisfying interpretation of god is the simplest, I Don’t Know, but I believe there is a controlling factor in and beyond the universe responsible for it all.

I cannot prove God but I believe in something I cannot explain.

Is the apocalypse the end?

No idea, but you got me thinking so I looked up Apocalypse in Wikipedia:

Apocalypse (from Ancient Greek ἀποκάλυψις (apokálupsis) 'revelation, disclosure') is a literary genre in which a supernatural being reveals cosmic mysteries or the future to a human intermediary. The means of mediation include dreams, visions and heavenly journeys, and they typically feature symbolic imagery drawn from the Hebrew Bible, cosmological and (pessimistic) historical surveys, the division of time into periods, esoteric numerology, and claims of ecstasy and inspiration. Almost all are written under pseudonyms (false names), claiming as author a venerated hero from previous centuries, as with Book of Daniel, composed during the 2nd century BCE but bearing the name of the legendary Daniel.

Which doesn't help answer your question, in fact I see nothing in this definition about ends of anything.

We might blow ourselves up, but I don't really see devils and angels running amok.
Ditto. And if we do, you can be sure that life will continue on this planet and a new species or group of species will rise to prominence.

Dinosaurs ruled the planet for some 165 million years. Anatomically modern Homo Sapiens evolved about 300,000 years ago, and were hunters-gatherers until agriculture dawned on us about 12,000 years ago.

Hardly an impressive run.
