Is the English spread, Marmite available in Canada?

Just now heard that because there is an ingredient that the makers will not divulge, that Canada blocked it's import because they would not know what was being imported.
Vegemite, the delicious Aussie spread is available in Canada though, right?

Marmite is not banned in Canada. There was some confusion about this some years ago but the Canadian Food Inspection Agency clarified the issue back in 2014.

It would not be widely available though. You would have to go to a specialty Brit Food shop to get it. You're not gonna find it on the average grocery store shelves. You can order through Amazon.ca though.

Same would apply to vegemite but when I searched, I could not find any Aussi specialty food shops anywhere in Canada so you would have to order it through Amazon.ca which does show it as being available to Canadians.

Personally, I don't see either one being highly sought after by the average Canadian. Neither one is something we grew up with and from my understanding, both are very clearly love it or hate it food products. There's no; I sort of like it?

Yes, it’s available. Mr Pants may not have seen it in your average grocery store because they put it on the top shelves. Marmite & Vegemite aren’t coveted products. There was a shortage in mid 2020 when I went to buy some for an English friend’s birthday gift.

Didn't help that I lived in the Arctic for 35 years I suppose  I'll have a look next time I go to the grocery store though, just to see if I can find them.
