Is there a way to upload mp3 music files in our posts?

Do you want to upload from your personal library? I'm not sure if you can upload as an attachment? If you use an URL go to insert link at top of post.

You could try dragging a song into the posting area?

This looks pretty complicated. It is on the XexForo (this forum's software) site. It would take the technical administrator of the forum to figure this out....if possible.

I think the best way to share your music is upload it to a music site and then just post the url where it is in your post.

It took me about 5 minutes to sign up and upload a song at "Audiomack". Free and unlimited space.

There are audio file hosting/sharing/uploading sites similar to image hosting/uploading sites.

You create an audio file using one of several methods.

As long as the file is the right type (mp3 etc) and is below the size limit (20 MB on the site I checked) you can upload the file, get a URL, copy it and paste the link into your post.

It probably works similar to YouTube in that it takes you to their website to play it.

Here is a link to a Google search result that has links to several sites....

I just use Google Drive. They give you 5 gigs of storage for free, and if you have a gmail account, you already have Google Drive.
I use Google Drive for pics, but I didn't know they hosted audio. I thought it was just storage.

But I can get a url and repost it on a forum?

I'll have to check that out. (y)

They don't "host" the audio, but you can get a link. Most browsers have a built-in player. Make sure you set the permissions so that anyone can access it. You can set it for just one file or for the directory. Here's what the link looks like:
