They all disappeared. Total 50 cals on the airfield were 4 .. I do know from experience you can destroy a 50 cal very easy without one. Unfortunately when mine self destructed I was under fire directly from under me, one round fired and it never fired again. Depot at Vung Tau gave us a brand new in the crate aircraft 50. The long barrel was made by fomoco or Ford Motor Company. Each company had two, 1 for firefly and the other for perimeter defense.
