I played a bit of guitar when I was young, was just OK. I don't believe I process any sort of natural rhythm, so trying to move my feet and body to a beet I usually can't hear can get ugly.lol
 
I got you all beat! I can't do anything practical! I have yet to drive my first straight nail. I was trained as a clerk/accountant in Germany and my first job in Canada was in construction of a pipeline! Imagine my boss's frustration and my feeling of complete inadequacy. Needless to say, I only lasted a month!

thanks CS...never heard of it before.. but I see the end result are lace type items.... accch not for me..lol..

In truth I'm a much more practical person.. I prefer to be weilding a hammer and screwdriver than knitting needles or crochet hook et al..:D
 
If you are having trouble touching your toes, start out slowly, but bend at the waist each day and try to go a little farther down each day. You need to stretch the tendons and ligaments that have not been stretched in years. It won't be long before you will be able to do it, unless you are severely overweight.

I used to ice skate before I had an accident while playing ice hockey. I got flattened to the ice, bum first and bent my coccyx (tailbone). There is some risk to removing it so I have decided to tolerate the pain that comes and goes.

I used to play the drums, but after not playing for 35 years, I have trouble with reading chart music and striking the correct drum. I tried to help my neighbor's grandson about 5 years ago and looked foolish when I got behind his drum set and tried to play the cover of the song, "Go Your Own Way." That should have been an easy song to play.

( I paid for her lessons ).. when she was about 7 or 8, the annual nativity play needed a David , but they didn't have a boy who could play a wind instrument, so Daughter got the part , front and centre playing her Bass Recorder.. it was almost as big as she was.. šŸ„°

Is There Something You Simply Cannot Do?​


Yeh... get rid of those 'tree-trunk' bristles in my ears.

Someone told me the best way would be to burn them out, but I don't fancy putting a blow-lamp to my ears.... well, I might set my head on fire, then I'd have to dunk my head in the water-butt in the garden.

Another person told me to just pull then out with pliers, but if I tugged at the hairs in my left ear, then the right ear would disappear into my head..... so, in the meantime, I'll just have to keep mowing the beggars. šŸ˜Š
