I don't think there is anything entertaining about two women fighting.
That said, I did help teach Judo to women at a Judo Club in San Francisco back in 1961 and believe that it was beneficial to them, .... up to a point. My role, because I was fairly slim, was to let them execute various throws on me so that they could get a better sense of how to balance their movement. Apparently executing a hip throw on me was regarded as first class entertainment because they tended to want to spend all their time on the mat tossing me around rather than practice falling correctly. I worried that they could get over confident and get themselves in serious trouble. We told them over and over again that if they should ever have to do that in a confrontation, they should execute a quick throw and then run like the devil. Every once in awhile I would block their throw just to keep thing real. We did have a couple of them who did get reasonably proficient, and I did have practice bouts with them.
One of my sailors in Korea married a Korean Nurse who had a Black Belt in Martial Arts and was considered formidable. She was also very strong and fairly large. My wife and I got to know her pretty well as she was a big help at the Orphanage, especially when the kids got ill. She was decidedly pretty and my sailor was a lucky man. I did get her a formal letter of Commendation signed by the Admiral in Seoul for her work at the orphanage which helped her land a job when she moved to the states for the first time.
I rather doubt that she would have ever participated in a woman vs woman fight. That would probably disgust her. In her own way, she was too ladylike for anything like that.
The last time we talked to her, she was the head nurse at a hospital in Arizona.
While I boxed when I was a teen and watched boxing matches into my 20's. I do not like it anymore. But show me a good Judo match and I am all in. To me, Judo is a bit like ballet and you do not necessarily have to hurt someone to control them. Getting tossed around by a good black belt during a practice bout is illuminating to say the least. It kept me grounded in reality.
