Yes. Recruited by the Council for the waste management team. Works cheap, no unions, stronger and less likely to claim sickness benefits than a human.
Council are still working on getting around a staffing problem due to their propensity to curl up and shut down in winter, but they are proving excellent and efficient employees over the summer months.
A genetic research team is working on back breeding small hairy elephants to eventually produce a compact Woolly Mammoth which could cover the workload during the colder season. Will keep you posted on how that goes.

I saw that bear on the news some time back. Seems the company was having trouble with their dumpsters and they put a camera out there and caught the bear stealing them..He sure acts like he knows what he's doing!
