Have you ever pondered the ambiguous lyrics of “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Little explanation has ever been given by the band or its composer, Freddie Mercury. Findings suggest that “Bohemian Rhapsody” tells the story of Mercury’s psychological warfare in coming to terms with his bisexuality in a sexually repressive culture. Considering the five verses of “Bohemian Rhapsody” as the five stages of grief reveals much about the song and might indicate Mercury’s conscious intentions for composing it.
The BBC have a very good video The Story of Bohemian Rhapsody. The song has an estimated sales of 17 million, does that mean that seventeen million "get it?" What's your interpretation?

In the BBC video there's an amusing clip from Wayne's World where five passengers in a car are all head banging to Bohemian Rhapsody. It made me laugh quite loud. My wife, hearing my amusement looked at the television screen and smiled. "Waynes World," she said. I didn't dare say that I have never heard of Waynes World. There again most of the 60's past me by and the 70's I left for others. But Bohemian Rhapsody is a popular song that is more like classical music and that's not me voicing that opinion, it's André Rieu no less.

What did you make of Freddie's famous song?
