Is trivia your thing?

Music trivia is my thing. I never get into actual trivia contests when we go on cruises, but during the last one I sat in, next to two ladies who had trivia cards. I was whispering the answers to myself so they asked me to join them. I knew most of the obscure ones they weren't familiar with.

And spent somewhere around $70,000 in renovations. When I toured Graceland, the guide showed us his dad’s (Vernon) office, which was originally a chicken coop. He also added some inside work to his airplane, the Lisa Marie and made the barn a place to store his cars. The plane we saw was his first plane, which was an old Corvair 880. When I got inside it, the plane looked to like it belonged in the junkyard.

OK here is one for you..............Name the artist and the tune, that came out in 1956, and was the first rock tune that used both reverb and Tremolo effects on it. This record has been cited by many of the "guitar Gods " as their first influence to learn to play a guitar. The guitarist was a Navaho tribal member and he toured until he died.

Here is another early rock trivia question.....After Buddy Holley broke up with his band The Crickets, he needed a bass player to go on tour with him. Name that bass player. Buddy handed him a Fender Jazz Master bass and a big Ampex amp and said....You have a week to learn to play this thing, then we are going on a tour of 24 locations in the mid west. Who was the bass player.

Part Two. What is the musical connection between Jimmi Hendrix and Joe Pesci ? JIMB>
