Boxers last a long time. Briefs tend to lose their elasticity after a few years. I switched to boxers maybe 20 years ago and I'm still wearing the same ones.

Yep! Very true. All you need to worry about with boxers is the waist elasticity. But since I suffered from an inguinal hernia, keeping things snug was best. Later, after the hellaciously painful double, inguinal hernia repair, I guess I continued preferring briefs out of force of habit.

I'm with Diva. My undies and clothes are never old. I've taken my mom clothes shopping and she buys granny panties in an economy pack and argues with me when I buy lace bikini undies but I mean come on.

We may be alike in one sense, but not in the lace bikini underwear choice.

I think I'd have to dig really deep in my underwear draw to find any that pre-date our kids. Our youngest ls 63.

None of my underwear or any of my clothes are that old.

I love the underwear style choices these days, also variety of colours .. lacy bra/panty sets that I wish they had more of when I was younger.

I have a few shirts/blouses older than my 44 year old son & 47 year old DIL. On the rare occasions they are worn, I brag to the kids!
