The Israel Defense Forces have achieved full freedom of operation in the air space around Iran's capitol Tehran.

Trump left the G7 meetings in Calgary, Alberta, after one day, saying "he had more important things to do back in Washington". The World Media has produced videos of the meeting table, with his vacant seat , while the rest of the world leaders carry on without him.

I thought I'd read that Trump back in April gave Iran a 60 day deadline to dismantle its nuclear weapon preparations, so from the timing it seems like either the US held back Israel, or else used Israel to make good on his threat. Or, I vaguely remember when Iran launched missiles at Israel previously (nine months ago?) Israel said something about they would retaliate when they were ready.

I wish everyone in the world would be overcome with desire for peace.

l do and did with my breakfast at work every morning before l retired. lt was my favorite time of day and my favorite thing to do at my desk before everyone else showed up.

Not so sure credit would be a good thing as it would bring us even further into the situation, although I'm sure Iran is already aware of our involvement.

Here's one opinion on how the US should react:

One person who sees little similarity between the run up to Iraq and now is David H. Petraeus, the general who commanded American forces in Iraq and Afghanistan and led the 101st Airborne Division in the initial invasion in Baghdad. “This is clearly the potential run up to military action, but it’s not the invasion of a country,” he said on Wednesday.

Mr. Trump, he said, should deliver an ultimatum to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran, and order him to agree to the complete dismantlement of his nuclear program or face “the complete destruction of your country and your regime and your people.” If the supreme leader rejects the ultimatum, Mr. Petraeus said, “that improves our legitimacy and then reluctantly we blow them to smithereens.”

Please don't read anything about my intentions in posting this. I don't know what Iran has or doesn't have, and I don't have a clue what to do about it. And even if I did, it wouldn't make a bit of difference.
