It saddens me that Julian Assange is being left to rot in a UK prison

What it shows me is that whistle blowers are despised by the establishment and those in power will do all they can to muffle them.
Now he has been denied permission to appeal against extradition to the USA.
Shameful conduct.

If he is extradited to the US? Will the US deny access to his wife? They may find some reason to.

I have no idea, tbh. In reality there's still some hoops to jump through and some appeals he can make to prevent him being sent to the USA soon, but the woman he marries next week is the mother of 2 of his children so I would think it woukd be pretty cruel not to allow her to go to the USA if and when he gets extradited there.. and especially if he gets incarcerated for a long time..

Left to rot? Could be worse, he could have been deported to the 'colonies'. He probably has a better standard of life as a prisoner than he would as a pensioner in the UK.
