Warm and windy here, a great night for the trick or treaters.

I hate seeing the little ones wearing a winter coat over their costumes but they never seem to mind.

At the dental office yesterday, it got to be 80+ (F). You could tell the office manager wasn't thrilled about spending money on air conditioning, when he turned it on.
Last night, I slept without a blanket in late October!!!!!!

My house has thick stone walls, so they act like a large heat store. Without any additional heating, the temperature inside tends to lag the outside temp by a couple of days. If you live in N.Scotland, you don't need A/C - you need heating.

My house is brick made, and very well insutated... it can get too hot often even tho' I have windows open much of the time. In summer it can be a real PITA because it's very difficult to cool it down..no AC... but it's a blessing in winter, because I put heating on much later than my friends..and often I can turn the heating on for an hour or less, and it keeps the house cosy all day long

Last night I was too hot in bed, I kept throwing the covers off.. and there was no heating on...
