It's 2am And You Are Coming Up To A Red Light

It's a lonely road, no traffic to be seen and you know from experience that light takes forever to change.

What do you do? Take the chance and go through or obey and wait....I know what I would do ;)

Run it. We faced that choice once in a pretty dodgy neighborhood after a wedding we attended across town. We were young, dressed to the nines, driving a sporty car, had just passed something that looked like a drug deal or a gathering of pimps, and so we continued on after a brief look around for other traffic. I'd do it again.

Maybe city life and/or too much TV does this to you ... lol ... but I would be more concerned about someone coming up from behind, especially at that hour of the night. .. too many impaired drivers.
I wouldn't care to be sitting there at a light, and have someone plow into the back of my car at high speed.

@ 2 am, in a private vehicle, Pecos has it down correctly. Have had police sitting in a local spot watching me. The red lights are important of course. But common sense back then was allowed. Also a bet was made on my time of arrival and the officer thanked me for winning him a case of beer. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::devilish:

I've done it many times in the past... I would stop as if it was a stop sign and then continue on my way... The problem today from years pasts... a lot of stoplights now have a camera on it...

Most of our traffic lights have small camera situated on them, so running a red light regardless of how little traffic or how dark it is, risk us getting arrested for dangerous driving...

does that really matter holly...when your sitting in the dark ,waiting...😩
i know what i would do lee......i would just drive through the traffic lights .. , sod the consequences....🏎🏎

whats “ do a dougnut “ 😂
