It would be easy to find a reason to stay inside on a rainy day. I was just waiting for such a morning. There are some beautiful gladiolas, some bluish purple and some bright yellow, growing in an obscure place over at our farm. I have the perfect bare spot in the front yard of our house in town. With the soil dampened by the rain I can dig those plants up at the farm and move them to the moist soil of that bare spot. Yeah, I know I may get wet but with temperature in the upper 70's it won't hurt me. As a side benefit I won't be hearing that news item repeated every 30 minutes, and I'll get some favorable honey do points. I need those.
